Kai Elmauer

Founder

Kai Elmauer brings extensive expertise in stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and strategic communication with a focus on nature conservation and sustainable land use. With more than 20 years in the field he has a proven track record for the implementation of internationally award-winning projects, and specifically for cross-sectoral and cross-border initiatives. Kai is fluent in German and English.

Kai lives in Victoria, BC, on the beautiful Canadian west coast and works as negotiator for the Ministry of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation with the provincial government of British Columbia. He is an active member of Victoria’s Rotary Club and serves globally in advisor roles to governments and not-for-profit organizations. In recent years, he was active as advisor to British Columbia’s Conservation Officer Service with the British Columbia Bear Working Group, a member of Board of Directors of the North Shore Black Bear Society, a coordinator of the Bear Awareness Network for the Fraser Valley, and as a member of the Environmental Advisory Committee for the City of Abbotsford. In Europe, he served on the board of directors for the Verein für Arten, Umwelt- und Naturschutz (VAUNA e.V.), and previously as CEO of Munich Wildlife Society, Germany.

Andre Zhulpa Camporesi

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is AZhulpaC_20210320-293x300.jpgAndre Zhulpa Camporesi brings over six years of international expertise in communication and mediation, with a focus on environmental and social issues. Her academic background in cultural mediation and environmental studies, and her practical experience from working and studying in Italy, France and the Middle East provide a strong foundation for our work on cross-cultural and cross-border projects at elmauer institute. Andre is fluent in Italian, English, Spanish and French, and speaks Russian and Hebrew on a conversational level.

To complement her existing academic degrees Andre is currently enrolled with the Faculty of Sciences at the Università Politecnica delle Marche, Ancona, Italy, where she pursuing a Bachelor degree in Biology. Andre’s creativity and curiosity show in multiple ways: she is a keen photographer, and has worked as reporter, event organizer and campaigner. Beside her interest in learning about foreign cultures Andre demonstrates a heartening passion for the Mediterranean marine environment.

Barbara Lenze

Barbara Lenze strengthens our team with a master’s degree in mediation and her experience in working with local authorities and large business enterprises. She specializes in change management in administrations and organizations, team development and public participation procedures. Barbara is fluent in German and English.

Barbara has her personal roots in Traunstein and has recently moved to Munich. She is working for the City of Munich, is a registered lawyer with her private law firm and an active speaker and trainer for conflict management, social competence and stress management. In the past, she gained experience in human resources at the BMW Group, in an academy for conflict resolution training and in a law firm. An award with the ARTS Cultural Fund and several awards in the “Jugend musiziert” competition reflect Barbara’s creativity.
